So we are fast approaching the business end of the season and the league is still wide open. Since my last post the Chelsea party boys have hit the self destruct button and it seems that both John Terry and Ashley Cole's off-field antics that are dominating the front pages seems to be taking their toll on the pitch. United are only 1 point behind their London rivals and the two are set to meet each other at Old Trafford next month, in a game which could prove decisive in the final outcome of the league.
Arsenal have been in and out of the title race more times this season than Portsmouth have had owners (4 if anyone's counting!)! They are now only 3 points behind Chelsea themselves and with everyone dropping points all over the place it could quite easily be Arsene Wenger's men who lift the coveted Premier League title for the first time in 6 years!
It also has to be mentioned that England's golden boy Wayne Rooney has hit scintillating form this season and every England fan out there is just praying that he doesn't pick up an injury in the coming months as HE could prove to be that difference in South Africa.
Speaking of injuries its a shame that Arsenals 19 year old Aaron Ramsey has suffered a horrific leg break that is scarily reminiscent of Eduardos about a year ago! As bad as the injury is however I think that Arsene (Whinger) is going a bit far with the whole judge, jury and executioner style accusations at Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross.
